Practical tips & tricks on how to get more referrals
Most of us start with family and friends. After the list is exhausted, there can be a lull while we work out what to do next. This is normal. Getting momentum can take a while.
The trick is to take your time, be patient, sow the seeds consistently in your normal day-to-day routine and, eventually, they will come to you. There are no obligations to deliver any number of redemptions, you simply fit the activity around your day to day activities and spread the work where you can.
Remember your own journey — it probably wasn't the first time someone spoke to you about Bitcoin that you went for it. More likely it took a few encounters before you started looking into in properly and you sought out people who knew about it.
So, if you’re the person who “knows about it” in your friends circle, at work or at the gym, or even in that whatsapp chat you're in, guess who they will turn to?!
Here are some great tips from some of our most active Pioneers
Colin, Pioneer since 2020
“Use social media to promote your codes, if you don’t have a large following, try searching for groups on social media focused on freebies, making extra money etc. These type of groups will often allow you to post.
Don’t underestimate real life interactions as a means to promote your code, I bring up being a bitcoin pioneer and that in itself will catch someone’s curiosity to the point where you can take the conversation to a place where you share your code with them."
Sam, Pioneer who also runs referralworld.com
"I would say go in soft, mention how crypto is the new hype. You can tell if someone wants to know more or is interested. Plant the seed even if they not. Then revisit after a few days weeks. Slow and steady wins the race.
If you come across pushy or desperate, they go on the defensive. Don’t pressure yourself for numbers, start with your family or friends, to build your confidence and method."
Michael, one of the early BPs
"Mentioning the Free £10 Bitcoin is the tempter. Make it very clear that there are no conditions attached once they claim the Free £10 Bitcoin. Sometimes people automatically may think they are conditions attached to it.
Bitcoin in my opinion is here the long term so I like to think that will benefit all of us too as it isn’t going away anytime soon.
