This section contains lots of useful materials and resources that you will find very handy when promoting Bitcoin. If you're promotoing on-line, you'll also need to make sure you include the correct links and T's and C's, all of which are also included here.
Remember, your objective is to get as many referrals as possible to view the "Learn About Bitcoin" section of this website, which is a public page. The work has been done for you, so the more people you send here, the more likely it is that your referrals will move along the adoption curve and activate the additional bonuses which are very substantial. Stuff that MUST appear in any BP advert
There aren't many rules in the BP community, but there are a few! Some of these actually come from the FCA rather than us and are regulatory requirements when posting general (public) ads for anything related to cryptocurrency, say on Reddit or Facebook.
Ads must include the following small print. It CAN be very small at the bottom as long as it's readable, it just needs to be in there somewhere!
Simply copy and paste:
Cryptocurrency is anunregulated high risk investment. The value of cryptocurrency can fluctuate and capital may be lost, without recourse to financial regulators. Fees apply to transactions on Luno and tax (including Capital Gains Tax) may be payable on any profits. The free Bitcoin gift can be claimed by UK residents, aged 18 and over with ID who are new to Bitcoin. Cannot be claimed by existing Luno users.
Promoting for new BPs
There are still 10's of millions of adults in the UK who know nothing about Bitcoin. We need a large community to reach all of them for sure! This is why we reward existing BPs to vet and introduce new BPs, to the tune of £50 once they have qualified. The exact details of how the payments work are described in section 4 here.
You are free - and even encouraged - to place ads looking for new BPs, but remember they will need to go through the same process. Please vet your new referral first and don't send over random people who you haven't spoken to, that's not how the rewards systems works!
Historcially, some BPs have been resistant to the idea of recruiting new BPs beleiveing ity will reduce the number of people they can reach. This is simply not true, even growing at the rate of a hundred new BPs a month, it would still take decades to reach everyone! Building the Bitoicn commnity also adds value to your own Bitoicn holdings, drives development in the sector and allows us to negotiate even better benefits form the community. In short, the bigger the community, the better it for everyone!
Your ads shoud point to the main public page and you shoud encourage them to watch the video first and then apply, quoting your name OR, if you prefer, existing BP code. We will ensure your referral is correctly matched to you for payment later on.
Be careful when talking about rewards and don't over promise or talk silly numbers. You're looking for passionate,like minded people who want to make a difference.

“Use social media to promote your codes, if you don’t have a large following, try searching for groups on social media focused on freebies, making extra money etc. These type of groups will often allow you to post.

"I would say go in soft, mention how crypto is the new hype. You can tell if someone wants to know more or is interested. Plant the seed even if they not. Then revisit after a few days weeks. Slow and steady wins the race.
If you come across pushy or desperate, they go on the defensive. Don’t pressure yourself for numbers, start with your family or friends, to build your confidence and method."

"Mentioning the Free £10 Bitcoin is the tempter. Make it very clear that there are no conditions attached once they claim the Free £10 Bitcoin. Sometimes people automatically may think they are conditions attached to it.
Bitcoin in my opinion is here the long term so I like to think that will benefit all of us too as it isn’t going away anytime soon.
Other opportunities to get involved
On top of the regular activity we run to promote Bitcoin adoption in the UK, there's plenty of other ways for you to get involved and to earn extra Bitcoin - either through the community directly or with our friends at Luno
- Help Luno tell a customer story: Luno collect customer stories and share them as testimonials every month. They're always keen to hear stories of crypto beginners or even crypto skeptics, and if you know someone who might be a good fit, ask them to fill in this form and Luno will get in touch (18+, UK residents). There will be a gift for them, and for you too!
